Switzerland Dominates the First Half
Switzerland picked up their second win in the UEFA European Championship group stage with a 2-0 victory over Hungary at the RheinEnergieStadion in Cologne on Saturday.
Murat Yakin's side controlled the game from the outset, with Hungary failing to register a single shot on target in the first half. Switzerland took the lead through Breel Embolo in the 22nd minute, and Xherdan Shaqiri doubled their advantage just before halftime.
Hungary improved slightly in the second half, but they were unable to find a way past the well-organized Swiss defense. Switzerland held on to claim all three points, while Hungary's hopes of reaching the knockout stage now hang in the balance.
